If you take a drive across Kansas in late August and early September you will be delighted by the Kansas sunflower farms. In some areas there are sunflowers as far as the eye can see. As the official state flower, sunflowers are a favorite of travelers and locals. Some of the farms are open to the public and make for great photos.
