Deines Cultural Center Exhibit: Conquering the Flight of Fancy. Paintings by Michael Knutson and ceramics by Brian McCallum. August 7th through September 19th. Both artists are educators at Garden City Community College. The exhibition can be seen Tuesday through Friday 12-5 pm and Saturday and Sunday 1-5 pm.

This Labor Day weekend head to Colby, Kansas for the 8th Annual Colby Kite Festival. Events will be held at Colby High School on Sat, Sun and Mon from 11:00 am – dark. My Wind Stuff will be setting off candy canons, candy drops, paper rockets and will have huge kites on display.
